What We Do
Fulton Commons provides and manages the physical kitchen infrastructure—cooking equipment, storage space, prep and cleaning areas, and more—for operating a permitted food business, on flexible terms, as part of a broader network of food and other entrepreneurs.
A significant obstacle to launching or scaling a food business is the required financial investment, lead time, and long-term commitment to open one's own facility. A second obstacle is that, once one's facility is open, in addition to focusing on the core of one's business, one is spending substantial time and money managing their facility. At Fulton Commons, the kitchen is already set up and we manage the tedious—and expensive—tasks like equipment maintenance and deep cleaning; providing and managing utilities; providing gloves, towels, and cleaning chemicals; and more.
